After several discussions and meetings with stakeholders, I am pleased to announce that NSW Junior rugby has invited two WA u 15’s and *U14's girls teams to compete in the NSW 2022 state rugby championships.
To qualify for the trials you need to be 14 years i.e. born in 2007, players born in 2008 will be invitation only. The trials are open to all registered club players and non registered players. Players not registered and wishing to trial will need to register to a WA club using the rugby explorer app as a training only participant.
The trials will be open to all remote WA country players to participate, a quota of 10 spots has been set aside for country players. Country players are expected to join the trials on the 12th of December.
Coaches from Wests, North Coast, Southern Lions and Rockingham have volunteered there time to make this happen. Rugby WA Juniors have been informed of the tour and discussions are well underway on the logistics, we are very optimistic that state borders will be open before the tournament which is next June.

Trial dates will be held on the 5th and 12th of December at Cottesloe oval 2pm sharp, an information pack will be sent out next week on all details. U14s girls trial dates are still TBC.
